pastor notes octoberIt has been great getting back to some of our regular activities.  I’ve really enjoyed our Wednesday evening dinners and Bible study time.  It is also good to get back into the routine of Sunday School at 9:00.  Thanks to everyone who has helped pull these events together!

Our new LED sign looks wonderful and it will give us the opportunity to promote events at our church to those who drive by.  A big “thank you” goes out to the Agin family for the generous gift that enabled us to purchase the sign.

Don’t forget that we will be taking up our annual Peace & Global Witness Offering on Sunday, October 3rd.  PC(USA) churches across America collect for this special offering to address systems of injustice in our own communities and across the world.  As each church in our denomination does a little, it adds up to a lot.

October 3rd is also World Communion Sunday.  Join us on this special day as we combine with our brothers and sisters in Christ in this global sharing of the communion elements.

Please continue to pray for our Pastor Nominating Committee: "Holy Father, hear the prayers of our congregation as we pray with excitement and expectation for your blessings of a new pastor.  We thank you for your almighty hand upon us.  We pray for unity, love, wisdom, and patience in the waiting.  In Jesus’ name, amen."
